Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey : This product is probably the easiest to apply without a mirror, because it comes in a pencil form and you can therefore feel exactly where it is being applied. It also blends out giving a really even cover while leaving a slightly glossy finish. It is quite long lasting as it does stain your lips slightly, however I don't think it stains as much as the darker colors. I tend to touch it up once or twice throughout the day usually after I eat. The best thing about this product is that it's so moisturizing since it is a balm, and it feels really light weight.
Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer in 101 Celestial : Lip lacquers are one of my favorite lip products right now because they're so easy to apply and have great staying power. This one by Rimmel is no different. You really only need the smallest amount, and the trick is to not use to much other wise it won't set. There is a slight hole in the doe foot applicator that carries excess product so you don't need to re-dip it. This lacquer is extremely pigmented and one of the best everyday colors out there. It takes a few minutes to set and because it doesn't set matte it does still transfer a little bit, but I've never had any problems with it. The only downside is that this product can only be found at Walgreens as of right now. It was only just released over the summer, although it has been all the rage in England for quite a while now. Hopefully they will start spreading into other stores so it will become more readily available.
NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige : I hate lip gloss. There really isn't any other way to explain my feelings. I don't like my lips too look extra shiny and I can't stand when the wind blows and my hair ends up dragging the gloss half way up my face. Now to contradict myself, I love this gloss. It's the only one that I can actually stand wearing as it's not so sticky and very light weight.. Even though it says it gives off "mega shine" I don't find it too overpowering, but that might be because I only use a little bit of product. It is really pigmented for being a gloss, and this shade will go with every skin tone. I wasn't going to include it in one of my favorites at first, but it is a really easy product to apply and adds a really great amount of color.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick - Kate Moss Collection in 08 : Rimmel by Kate Moss lipsticks are my favorite drug store lipsticks. They're extremely moisturizing and definitely very long lasting. They are very smooth to apply and very pigmented. This shade is more cool toned (although it does not look as purple as it does on Ulta's website..), so it might not suit everyone but I think it is particularly beautiful on fairer toned skin. Although it is moisturizing it is not very glossy, so if you like more of a shine you might want to add a lip gloss on top. The only thing that can be a bit off putting is the scent; It doesn't bother me but I know a lot of people don't find it very pleasant.
MAC Lipstick in Syrup : If you're looking for a more buildable lipstick, you might want to check out MAC's line of lipsticks that have a luster finish. These lipsticks are quite sheer but give your lips the right about of pigmentation and shine. Because they are sheer, you can add layers to deepen the color. Like the Rimmel lipstick, Syrup is more on the cool tone side of the spectrum. This finish is great if you want just a little wash of color and is also very easy to apply without a mirror throughout the day.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Fiend : This is my current favorite everyday lipstick. The color goes great with what ever make up I'm wearing on my eyes and is extremely smooth and rich. It's highly pigmented so you don't need to layer on a lot, and it isn't drying in the slightest. It sets to a satin finish which I find to be the most natural and flattering finish. I think this line was only just released maybe a month or so ago, so there isn't a ton of buzz about it but I can tell it is soon to be a cult favorite. Not to mention, the packaging is really beautiful and has a nice weight to it. There are quite a few colors to choose from, but this is the only one I've picked up so far as I could tell it would be great for everyday use!
