As you'll quickly learn, I have a slight obsession with all lip products. With all the wear and tear done to lips through the use of drying products, such as matte lipsticks, it is important to replenish them. This lip scrub gets rid of all your dry skin particles and leaves your lips feeling and looking soft and sumptuous. Lush makes three different flavors of their lip scrub: mint julips, popcorn, and bubblegum. I haven't tried the other two flavors, but mint julips is absolutely delicious. You only need to use a small pea-sized amount, and once you're done scrubbing you can lick off the rest! The scrub is completely edible as it is made of castor sugar, fresh mint and jojoba oils.
You can use it as a part of your nightly routine, followed by your favorite lip balm, or use it before applying a lipstick or lip gloss. It creates a very polished surface which is great if you have fine lines in your lips that lipstick often seeps into. At $9.95 a jar, I think the scrub is definitely affordable, as it lasts an extremely long time.
